Wild Horse One Check Donation! One Check is a one-time, 100% tax-deductible donation to Wild Horse Elementary PTO.  The money raised helps to bridge the gap between the school budget and the programs that create community, enhance learning and build leaders for tomorrow.  It eliminates the need for individual fundraisers such as wrapping paper sales, pizza sales, and other similar events throughout. Your continued dedication and support to our school helps our Stallion community thrive. 

Your dollars at work!

In the 2022-2023 school year PTO raised $21,480 from the One Check campaign.  PTO also raised a net $9,152 from the Adult Fundraiser, our other main fundraiser of the year.  Funds raised were largely utilized as follows:

• Field Trip Transportation $4,860

• Field Day $2,400

• Class parties & 5th grade promotion $3,000

• Teacher and class resources $4,600

• Staff Appreciation $3,400

• Student t-shirts $3,750

• Classroom subscriptions/periodicals $3,500

• Assignment notebooks $875

• Classroom placement software $825

• Administrative costs $1,700

Excess funds were put towards our next big school purchase:  a new audio/visual system for the school’s gymnasium.  We are expecting this to cost between $26,000-$30,000. This much needed equipment is used for all school assemblies, special events, concerts, performances, 5th grade promotion, as well as daily PE instruction.
