Wild Horse Elementary needs AT LEAST 100 parent and family volunteers each year to ensure our fun school events, fundraisers, classroom parties, field trips, and MORE go off without a hitch!

SCHOOL SUPPLY PACKS
Help families order all of their back-to-school supplies, in one convenient pack, that is delivered directly to the school! Volunteers needed to upload grade level supply lists as well as organize and distribute student packs to each classroom before the start of school.
PLANNERS
Volunteers will work with faculty members and the supplier to order academic planners for our 4th and 5th grade students to use throughout the school year.
CARDINALS GAME
Come watch the 5th graders sing on the field before the game, and then stay for a Cardinals winner! Volunteers needed to help organize ticket orders and distribution in the fall.
TRUNK OR TREAT
Costumes, decorations, music, and candy galore! Help plan this festive Halloween event or assist with set-up, event traffic flow, or clean-up the night of.
SCHOLASTICS BOOK FAIRS
Book Fair proceeds directly support our school library. Sign up for a shift to help shoppers find books, stock shelves, assist with the check-out line and/or set up and tear down the fair. Typically held 3 times a year.
STAFF APPRECIATION COMMITTEE
Help show our WHE staff just how much we adore them! This committee organizes staff dinners on conference nights, leads the staff holiday cookie exchange, and supports a week of surprises during Staff Appreciation Week in May.
POWERFUL PROTECTORS DAY
Volunteers needed to plan and work this meaningful event where WHE honors our active duty service members, veterans, and first responders in our families’ lives.
HOLIDAY GIFT-GIVING
Help organize, collect gifts and monetary donations, shop, or wrap presents for the annual holiday gift-giving event. This initiative provides an opportunity for students and parents to purchase items for select WHE families to help make their holiday even more special!
SCHOOL DANCE
Ready to boogie?! This family night includes an annual theme, decorations, DJ, concessions, dancing and lots of fun! Volunteers needed to plan the event, organize ticket sales, and execute the night of.
BINGO NIGHT
Join in one of our most anticipated family nights at WHE! Help plan, organize ticket sales, gather prizes, run concessions, set-up or tear-down.
VARIETY SHOW
Get ready to see our WHE students and teachers share their talents in our annual Variety Show. Volunteers needed to lead the effort, help with production, sell tickets, and staff this theatrical extravaganza the week of the event.
ADULT FUNDRAISER
Each year we hold an adult fundraiser which includes a night of fun for the parents of the school and a chance to raise additional funds through a silent and live auction. A group of volunteers is needed to solicit and organize donations, organize the event, and run the online auction website.
FIELD DAY
Our end-of-year school day celebration! Volunteers needed to supervise games and activities, as well as organize materials and help set-up.
COPY ROOM COMMITTEE
Volunteers are needed to assist teachers with copy room support. Shifts occur weekly during school day mornings.
YEARBOOK
Help take pictures, collect picture submissions, and create the yearbook using the school photographer’s easy-to-use design website!
SPIRIT WEAR
Work with vendor to select designs, facilitate orders, and distribute all our WHE apparel and accessories for students and families.
GRADE LEVEL CHAIRS
Grade Level Chairs partner with the teachers to set up and recruit parents in order to support grade-level parties and needs, build community within the grade, and act as a PTO resource for parents.
